B. S. Jeter to Miss A. E. Heskew

Married at the residence of the bride’s mother on Thursday July 20th 1882, B. S. Jeter to Miss A. E. Heskew, Rev. Alanson Brown officiating.

It was our good fortune to be among the honored guest on this occasion.

Our friend Jeter bore himself bravely and his brushing bride secured to have considered well the step she was taking and to be sustained by the consciousness of well doing.

Mr. Jeter is a sterling Christian young man, steady and industrious, and some we the lady of choice will prove so thoroughly furnished unto every wife's duty that the heart of her husband may safely trust in her.

They have the best wishes of a host of friends for a long life of usefulness and happiness not content with doing as proved at the excellent supper, friend Jeter bought us a handsome coallation cake yesterday, which was shared by our boys, for all engage in returning thanks.
